6.) Mountain high-Valley low
It is going to be mountainious!
The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range – since 2011 a UNESCO world cultural heritage site – stretches over the entire north-west of the island.
And this is exactly where you are going today.
Cultural enthusiasts have the opportunity to visit Santuari de Lluc on the way through the mountains. Afterwards we go downhill to the valley of Sa Calobra via serpentines between rocky canyons and wooded sections directly to the coast. Along the water, the path to the Torrent de Pareis winds through caves with subtle lighting and ends in an unreal looking environment between rock faces and untouched nature. With its small pebble beach and crystal clear water a must!
Another very little frequented bathing bay, the Cala Tuent, can be reached before passing the mountain lakes Gorg Blau and Cuber, before heading to the next valley of the Tramuntana, Port de Sóller.
Your descent will lead you through Fornalutx, the most beautiful village in Spain with its picturesque citrus gardens, to Sóller with its playful architecture and from there to Port de Sóller where you spend the night.
Let yourself be enchanted by the romantic beach promenade and the unique view of the harbor in this idyllic coastal town surrounded by picturesque mountain chains.
